Opening a study in Dentica is free. The licence adds what turns reading into a practice: the report you put your name on, the queue it arrives from, and the record that has to outlive the case.
What the licence includes

Reporting and signing
Structured report templates, your signature block, and licence-aware routing. A report cannot go out under a state licence you do not hold.

A queue at practice volume
A multi-patient inbox with assignment and turnaround tracking. Unlimited uploads. Retention that does not expire while a case is open.

Records that hold up
PHI retention, a business associate agreement, and an audit log of every view, change, and signature on a study.
Segmentation is not behind the paywall. Tooth segmentation ships on the free tier, and the anatomy segmentation still in development will reach both.
Questions
- What happens to my reports if I cancel?
- You keep your work. Every report you signed and every study you uploaded stays exportable after you cancel, on terms set in the licence agreement.
- Can I also read for the network?
- Yes. Network reading pays you per case and bills separately from the licence. Neither affects the other.
