Imaging referral
Send a patient for a scan. Keep the case.
Cone-beam, panoramic, or cephalometric: you set the study and write the clinical question. The patient books nearby, and the images come back to your browser, not to a disc. Add an oral and maxillofacial radiology report when you want one.
-
Write the referral.
Pick the study: cone-beam, panoramic, or cephalometric. Set the field of view. Say what you are looking for. The facility's own price list shows in the form before you send anything, so nobody is surprised, least of all the patient.
-
The patient books.
They get a secure link. They pick a location and a time, finish intake before they walk in, and pay the facility directly when payment is required. You never touch the phone.
-
The study comes back to you.
It lands in your workspace with its case status visible the whole way. Open it in a browser on any machine in the office. Send a colleague a link, not a copy.
-
Add what the case needs.
A cone-beam referral can carry processing with it: an implant plan, measurements, 3D segmentation, or videos when they help. A ceph referral can include cephalometric analysis. And any study can go to an oral and maxillofacial radiologist for a signed report.
What it costs
Imaging is priced by the facility and shown in the referral form before you send it. Reports and consults are priced per case. The referral itself costs nothing.
What you keep control of
The study type and field of view. The clinical question. Which processing rides along. Whether a read is included. Who at your practice can open the study.
Track record
Dentica is new. The radiologists behind it are not.
The workflow inside this product is the one our founders already run. They built cone-beam reporting at national scale before writing a line of it into software you can use.
